Adventures in Dragonland (2012): One Quest Narrative, Hold the Potholes

Not the most ferocious of dragons, nor the most puzzling of riddles…

Not terribly well-written quest narrative for youngsters. I grant you, it tries, but every time Esche gives her characters a hurdle, it is overcome with no resistance whatsoever. Doesn’t that kind of defeat the purpose of putting hurdles in your hero’s path in the first place? * ½
