Spoiler Alert!

FMA’s penultimate volume ratchets up the action yet again, as the five human sacrifices face off against Pride and the Dwarf in the Flask, while Scar continues his epic battler against Wrath. All well and good, and just when it looks like things are darkest—WAIT, THAT CLIFFHANGER. Oh, man, I think I’ll be putting vol. 27 on hold at the library tonight… *** ½
