Urasawa cranks up the suspense in volume 4, as Tenma’s search for Johan brings him into contact with underworld mogul (and white supremacist) The Baby; meanwhile, Johan’s sister is also looking for him, also comes into The Baby’s sphere of influence, and finds an entirely different outcome. A lot going on in this volume, all of it good. *** ½
