Stomp ‘n Splash! (2011): The Book That Wasn’t

A bathtub book for those express baths, maybe.

The kid is fond of it because of its texture, so we keep it around. Otherwise, it would have gone out with the last shipment to Half-Price Books. The art is crude, the text feels as if it was come up with by committee (and there is no plot, however simplistic, to be found here)–there’s nothing really BOOKish about it, if you get my drift. Got read once and then became a chew toy. But judging by my son’s reaction to it in that regard, it performs exceptionally for the teething set. * ½
