Zoophabet 1-2-3 (2007): For the Youngest of the Young Set

Cute illustrations, basic text.

Very basic animal counting book. The kid tired of it before I did, and I let him be the final arbiter in these things, so it doesn’t come out much these days, but I thought the illustrations were cute enough. While he was interested in it, it held up to repeated readings (on successive days rather than over and over again). Not something to go out of your way for, but if you find it for a quarter at a Big Red Wagon sale or something, it’s worth it for the very young set. ** ½
